A: The witbier is a hazy light yellow color, a few stray brown notes adding a darker presence. A thin white head, nearly half a finger on delivery, laces in patches.
S: Wheat aromas, lightly tart, mix with sweeter elements, including orange peel and spices. A nice aroma, what you'd expect for a witbier.
T: Citrusy and tart, with a Comstock lode of spices right through the center. The wheat is strong, assertive with a lemony citrus finish and very mild tartness. Orange peel adds to the citrus festivities, a sweeter presence than the lemon. Finally, spices like coriander and cloves add a nuanced depth to the sweetness. A well-carbonated ale, very spritzy.
M: An enjoyable witbier. One that I'd recommend starting with (and not ending with). Trust me on that.
