Bright red-amber color with a small but lingering off-white head. A sour beer with a capital S! Acetic, tart notes on the nose and dominating the flavor. Just a touch of sweetness, but not enough to come close to balancing the acidity. A bit of horse blanket funkiness, but really the sour is the dominant note. Light mouthfeel with just enough carbonation to keep it from feeling still. This beer might be difficult to finish on its own. With French fries, it did a decent job taking the place of malt vinegar. It was also good at balancing the richness and sweetness of a crabcake sandwich.
