Pours a muddy brown with a tan head that quickly dissipates.
Smells of coffee, chocolate, bitter herb, and burnt malt.
Taste is nice up front with chocolate and coffee notes, then the bitter herb finishes with a dry acrid burnt malt bitterness that is too much.

This beer poured out as a deep brownish black color with a minimal tan head on top. Head fades quick leaving some film on top. The smell of the beer is a mixture of char and roasted malts. The taste is burnt and bitter from the roasted malts. Not much else really going on in this one. The mouthfeel is medium bodied, sharp carbonation, dry bitter finish. Overall, not the best stout out there. Was nice to try but not really all that impressive.
