I had this on tap at John J Jeffries served chilled in a tulip.
The color is light golden with slight amber highlight and mild haze with thin cap of light beidge. The smell is very funky and has a light fruit arom with a decent amount of woodiness and gentle hint of phenolic odor. The feel is very dry and slightly tangy but not really sour more funky with moderately high carbonation and bone dry finish.
The flavor is good with some mild malt flavor and the funk is expected in the taste with mild wood and spice tinges and phenolic yeast with some light acidity and gentle fruit tanginess with slight spice like a blackberry tannin as it finishes very dry with mild alcohol in the taste. Overall an interesting beer and very well done, I prefer a slight amount of fruit since the notes mentioned this was fermented with blackberries, but I enjoyed the beer for what it is a good wild ale.
