Absolutely outstanding. Agree with the previous comment that slight bitterness comes first and then replaced by malt. Highly highly recommend.

It is very Saaz-hoppy, quite bitter but intense and somehow quite sweet as well, sometimes to an extent that it starts feeling a bit too sweet. I chugged a bottle feeling like that and afterwards the Saaz hops had their victory on my pallet and felt how amazing they are. A very interesting Czech lezák, and for the amount of hops it is one to enjoy slowly. It was a good one!

Tap @ Illegal Beer Bar, Prague - Pours clear golden with large white head. Nice lacing. Medium carbonation. Smell - malts, bread. Taste - more sweet than bitter with smooth finish. Agreeable Pilsener.

An utterly fantastic representation of a Czech Pils.

It has slightly different looks than in the picture.

Pours yellow with large and rocky white head and excellent retention, creates nice looking and delicate lacing all around glass. Aroma is light malt, hops are rather noticeable as well.

Taste is clean, on the bittery side first, but then balanced by sweetish malt and weak bittery aftertaste that reminds of wallnuts. Mouthfeel is about medium with refreshing and lively carbonation.

Overall, a very good one. Refreshing, highly drinkable and feels even better after warming up.

The colour is pale yellow; the liquid clear. The large white compact head leaves some lacing.

The smell is a bit buttery and fresh with some notes of white loaf and some bitterness.

The taste is bitter, probably the bitterest Czech beer I have had so far. Some butter; the body is weak. The aftertaste is fresh and clean with a robust metallic bitterness.

The carbonation is strong, the bubbles large. The liquid is light, almost watery.

A surprisingly unbalanced pils... My friends at the table told me "You see, this is a 12º. The Czech 10º are often much better beers".
