Appearance
Poured from a 350 ml brown bottle. The handsome label states the brew is "bottle conditioned" and warns against storing on its side.
Holy Monkey! Popped the cap and it foamed up like grade school science experiment! Maybe it got knocked around in my bag... won't hold it against the beer. When the foaming died away, just a bit of the head was left. The beer itself glows like a mood ring, but quite cloudy. Almost opaque. What's a good word for the colour? Ruby? Yeah, that's it.
Smell
Smells a bit like a boutique soda. I can tell it's going to be a bit fruity. Certainly some malty character there, too.
Taste
Nice. Interesting. A bit sour... flavour busts a bit like a lambic. And yeah, it's fruity.
Mouthfeel
Very round and robust feel.
Drinkability
The fruitiness and sour notes are a bit much and linger a bit long. One will do. I don't see what's "mild" about it.
