Our waitress described this as a light ale; I have no idea what the name of this beer has to do with anything. Glasnost is light golden in color, carbonation is decent, but the head is very light. I think the light head has a lot to do with Houston water. The aroma is of light sweet grains, a very average beer smell. The taste is lightly sweet and grainy. A pretty good flavor overall, but a tad raw tasting. Mouthfeel is nice and crisp. Since this is pretty good tasting and light-bodied the drinkability is good. This beer is about what I expect from Two Rows, easy to drink, but somewhat middle of the road.
