Color is copper, with a small, light brown head. Aroma is very hoppy, fresh and somewhat piney. The flavor is also big on the hops, also very fresh and mildly piney. An underlying sweet flavor is there, but this only serves as a balance. BItterness is high and leaves a firm mouthfeel. As for this being a steam beer, it doesn't taste anything like Anchor and that is the only other steam I've tried. Whether it is or isn't a steam, it's still a very good hophead beer.

Sampled at the Houston Two Rows' location, which seems to be far superior to the others in this chain. This beer was brewed as a commemorative 500th batch at this location; if successful, it may return.
Light amber in appearance with a good-sized head and fresh green hops in the aroma.
Flavor is very toasty with some sesame seed flavors. Light caramel is mixed with very fresh green hops, almost as if you were chewing raw hops. Finish is clean and bitter.
Mouthfeel is medium but very drinkable. Purported to be a steam beer, this may qualify for the debated fresh hopped ale style. Easily the best TwoRows has ever put out.
