(note: I have a stuffed up nose while drinking this. A beer connoisseur's worst enemy!)
this brew pours up jet black with a thin tan bubbly head. decent lacing. the nose is vanilla ice cream, dry malts, subtle chocolate, kinda sweet. the taste is sweet malts, milk, a touch of smoke, bitter hops in the finish, medium bodied, low carbo. Another decent Two Rows offering....

A: Pours a dark brown, almost black color. A two finger beige head forms and leaves patchy lace.
S: Musky, old coffee. A touch of roasted malt. Not much in the nose.
T: Coffee is the dominate flavor. The coffe flavor is a little sweet and bitter. Some roasted malt as well.
M/D: A medium body that is over carbonated. Not hard to drink. Something I could quaff at the bar with no problem.
One of the better Two Rows beer IMO. Though that is not saying much. Easy enough to drink with not a lot of complexities. I enjoyed it though. I would take this over just about anything else the brewpub has to offer.
