Pours a very dark brownish amber color with a very thin cream colored head that immediately fades into a thin lace. Nose is dominated by a sweet maltiness. Sweet malts also come through up front in the taste followed by a sour twang of green apples. Medium mouth feel and quite smooth with virtually no hop bitterness present. This would be a nice beer if not for the sour flavors.
