Kozicka Bar (Little Goat)

We could not have been treated any worse if we were lepers. We actually went a second time as the first time we trekked over the place was closed (opens at 5PM).

Very cool cavernous brick interior. Crap beer selection on tap, none of the better Czech beers. Bottled beers offered a better selection but nothing to write home about.

We didn't even bother to finish our pints before getting the heck out of dodge... this was a major disappointment to say the least. Avoid, there are significantly better places to go to.

I was at this place over the 2006 summer, but lost my review sheet when I got back to the States...but I just found it.
This is a not typical of the pubs in Praha, usually they are small, quaint and serve basic selections of beer. This one has the most beers I found in the city. It's a nice, homely little place where a couple of good friends can enjoy nice service, good food, and a variety of beers.
It is in a good location, right around the central tourist spots, but not 'in' them. Very cozy place, I loved it.

"The goat bar," as we called it on our term abroad. Cool atmosphere, good for before, after or during a night out in the downtown. Good atmosphere whether its crowded or more laid back. The food was hit or miss, some things were really good, but some were a bust. All the essential Czech pivos fresh on tap, Krusovice, Pilsner, Gambrinus, Staropramen. Good variety of other mixed drinks and shots. Also, they had a variety of cigars for sale. The service was always decent, even during the crowded times.
