i wasnt wild about this one, near flat from the tap at the brewery, and not real distinctive or well executed, tastes like an ipa from a bygone era of craft beer, malty and more bitter than flavorful on the hops, light in body and alcohol though, i just dont think the quality was real high. the fermentation profile, like it was in their golden ale, is unclean, metallic, thinning, and even a little sharp, dish watery too, its not awful or intense, but its not all the way right either. no head at all on the light brassy colored brew, some grain sweetness in nose and taste, and light but generic citrus from the hops, northwestern but somewhat safe in terms of dosing, possibly not even dry hopped though, tasted antiquated to me in terms of the recipe. the mouthfeel is light, a touch sweet, weird metallic linger, and without much carbonation at all, seems old or dead to me. i dont hate it, but its not very good objectively speaking, and while ive had some pretty good beers from these guys in the past, neither one i had while i was in this week was anything to write home about. awesome space though, worth checking out for sure. i wont be in a hurry to order this one again...

Appearance – The beer is served a golden amber color with a one finger head of white foam. The head fades rather fast to leave a light level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the beer is strong of melon and cracker smells. Along with these smells comes some bready and caramel aromas as well as some pine and herbal hop.
Taste – The taste begins with a rather strong flavor of bread and grain mixed with some tastes of herb and pine. As the taste advances some of the bread fades a bit and is replaced by a little bit of caramel. The sweetness is light overall and toward the end there is a surge of bitterness of earth and pine that leave one with a drier and more bitter taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is on the averages side in terms of thickness with a carbonation level that is rather average. Fairly decent for the style and the tastes and makes for an easy drinker.
Overall – A decent APA overall. Fairly dry and bitter and easy to drink.
