Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance- The beer is served a golden amber color with a one finger head of white foam. The head fades rather fast to leave a trace of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is strongest of a grainy and rye bread smell mixed with some nice honey and herbal hop smells.
Taste – The taste begins with a crackery flavor that has some notes of rye and a bit of herbal hop. There is a little bit of honey upfront which seems to get stronger as the taste advances further. All the while some light herbal and earthy hop flavors develop as well, leaving one with a crisp, and still somewhat dry, but flavorful taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is thinner and crisp with a carbonation level that is average. For the drier tastes and light sweetness the feel is great and makes this a crushable brew.
Overall – A very nice, super easy drinking, crisp, and enjoyable brew!!!
