Copenhagen 5/2 2017. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Østerfælled torv, Kbh. Ø. Quite strange set up. To call a beer ”Bohemian IPA’ish” but categorize it as ”Double Dry Hopped Lager” seems a bit contradictory.
Pours clear golden yellow with a modest head. Settles as a thin but creamy layer of foam. Moderate lacing.
Not much IPA to the aroma. Sweet malts, corn and not much else.
Medium strong carbonation and a watery palate.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a slightly more pronounced bitterness.
Does not have much to do with an IPA. Quite simply a generic Czech lager.
