330 ml bottle.

Chocolate lovers will not be disappointed with the flavor of this beer: there's loads of medium and dark chocolate in the flavor. The aroma is perhaps too much like candy but smells more like chocolate muffins. It certainly suggests that the flavor will be quite sweet. It is sweet but not cloying.

Medium+ body with medium-low carbonation.

Overall: more chocolate milk stout than Amer. Stout.

Black with virtually no penetration of light. 4 fingers of foamy dark chocolate milk head, looking like ice cream with a few large bubbles in the frothy foam that lays like snow.

Smells of chocolate and vanilla, much like a chocolate shake with sweet milk and cream.

Tastes of milk chocolate, a lot of sweetness to this, vanilla, a floral quality almost like perfume. Hints of coke as well.

Medium thick body, it has a little spicy carbonation like a flat soda.

Got at #1 Bar in Chiang Mai tonight, July 12th, 2016. Really good brew for one so inexpensive. What can go wrong with a beer that tastes like a chocolate milk shake? Not as refined as some might be but overall worth a try.

12 oz bottle. Deep brown pour, thin tan head fades quickly, spotty lacing. Smells like Hershey Cocoa mix, tons of chocolate. Chocolate milk taste, vanilla, nice n sweet. Mouthfeel on the thin side, semi silky.

Taste: Rich bittersweet dark chocolate, smokey malts.
Very huge nose of dark chocolate aroma.
Black and opaque with a cocoa colored cake of foamy head. Full body but no heavy. Dessert ale.

The Necromancer Chocolate Stout has a thin, beige head, a dark brown (almost black) appearance, and essentially no lacing left behind. The aroma is of strong, intense, overriding, dark baking chocolate. Taste is of golden ale and chocolate. Not particularly sweet and not bitter, The Necromancer has a thin mouthfeel and finishes on the dry side.

Meh - thin artificial, mass feel mars this chocolate stout.

A- Head dissipates to nada. No lace, scant carb.
S - Best part. As much black licorice as chocolate, not much hop, not much "Life".
T - Continues the licorice, sweet, and chocolate direction, with a little bitter ripple at the end.
F - Thin, weak, no body. Not what I seek in Stout.

Pass by, Devil.
