Had the regular IPA from this brewery earlier in Japan so when I found this WIPA I just had to give it a try.
I wasn't disappointed with this one either, it is quite good, almost as good as the West Coast ones. This onle looked good too (dark amber), had to let it warm up a bit to have all the dense fruitiness, bitterness and earth/pine smell and flavor fully come out. Compared to the US ones of course it is a bit "lighter" but fully satisfactory to the very end. It is all good as it is, a nice, punchy W-IPA.
