Dark brown in the glass with a respectable tan head. The aroma brings toasted malt and fresh bread, accented by a hint of citrus and a slightly perfumy note. The flavor leans malty with moderate sweetness, but a heavy artificial character cuts through and ultimately holds the beer back from being truly enjoyable.

500 ml bottle, from EKO Market, Stavanger. ABV is 4.3%. Very dark brown to black colour, moderate to small beige head. Aroma of malts, sweat, dark rye bread, liquorice / anise and dark fruits. The flavour is not too sweet, notes of dark fruits and some citrus, also lightly roasted malts, burnt breadcrumbs and dark rye bread, hints of anise. Moderate bittering hops.
