Mega budget so not expecting a huge amount ; ) Seems to be the usual ingredients with the addition of orange peel...
Looks great, mega smooth head.mBright malt colour. Very strong orange peel aroma.
Orange peel comes through quite intensely in the flavour. Malt is very light. Hops add a light bitterness. Taste is very unique, and I wasn't expecting this from such a low priced beer. In addition to the orange peel there is a little banana. Mouth feel is fulll and creamy. It tastes much more expensive than it is, and has no off flavours or tequila-like alcohol flavours, that are found in beers like Opillia, Obolon, Lvivka ans Ukrainian Stella.
Usually I'm not a fan of added fruit to beers, but somehow this kind of works. The orange peel really combines magically with the malt and hops. Water quality seems pure and natural. I'm very surprised to like this, but I do! The balance of the orange peel with the malt and hops, the creamy mouth feel and sophisticated small bubbled golden appearance with big head retention, are very impressive for a beer at this price level. So yes, very impressed.
