Czech lager brewed under licence in Ukraine by a brewery connected to Heineken...cheap, price similar to local Ukrainian beers like Lvivska. Ukrainian Heineken and Amstel are both pretty good, and possibly made in the same brewery.
Quite pale but great effervescence. Musky aroma with well balanced malt and citrussy hops, I like it.
Big punchy flavour. Honey, earthy hops bitterness and lime peel dominate. Amazing for the price, tastes much more expensive than it is. Impressive mouth feel also with great hop bitterness in the aftertaste.
Overall this is definitely one of my favourite Ukrainian brewed pilsners, maybe my favourite...and so cheap too. They obviously use Saaz hops but it is a much more twiggy forest floor flavour than Urquell or Stella.
Update...this is the best value Ukrainian brewed beer I am currently aware of. And they use actual hops pellets in addition to extract. Amazing.
