500ml bottle from Lidl, Ireland (£1.79):
Deep to chestnut brown with a 1cm, bubbly head that's beige & holds fairly steady. The nose is malty & dark with some chocolate sweetness & the odd hints of sugar with some grains to finish. It's stronger tasting with more alcohol grains & harsh flavours, I got some chocolate & darker malts again but it's definitely not the easiest to drink. The body is medium to full but it is quite well carbonated, the alcohol way too pronounced for my liking though.

A: Dark mahogany, opaque, small tanned head which made a quick getaway, left a film on the side of the glass which was reminiscent of a strong red wine.
S: Cherries and booze.
T: Dark chocolate, cherries, raspberries, slightly bitter and boozy finish.
M: Low carbonation, medium to thick texture, went down pretty well.
O: Decent enough Autumn/Fall beer, very good value for the price.
