500ml brown bottle. Date code on label is 'E4619B37'.
Mostly clear, pale gold colored body. One finger of off white head, and this reduces to an island and a thin ring. Small lacing spots tend to slide back down into the body.
Aroma of sour apples and toasted malts.
Taste is toasted malts, and mostly sweet. Bitterness is moderate and comes in midway and lasts to the end. Sour apple and mild spicy hops. Aftertaste fades away quickly, in order to get ready for another sip.
Medium mouthfeel. Generally smooth and clean finish. Good carbonation.
Sweet, spicy, and a little cardboard.

A good old Lezák from the Czech Rep, and a good experience: at 11 balling degrees it is still quite enjoyable and not watery! Looks rich and gold, smells faintly like apples and Saaz, tastes refreshingly Saaz-y with low bitterness and just enough balance for a nice beer! I rate the feel high because it is really smooth and extremely pleasant as it is! Some people fall into the misconception that the best Czech (Saaz-y) lezáks have to be bitter but it can't be further from the truth! The best stuff you can get in the underground breweries in Prague right off the tap fresh are smooth with low carbonation, almost creamy and taste like this! Flowery hops and decent bitterness at the back end. I was hesitant to buy this beer but I am overly satisfied with how it is - I am really glad that I bought it!
