Green 500ml bottle: BBD 23 May 2014, poured into a 'Veltins 0.2 stemmed tulip glass three times on 15 July 2013. They cover all angles with the rear label, one line stating it is a "Bohemian Czech Pilsner Lager".
£1.00 a bottle in the Morrisons Supermarket chain in the UK. Might be the breweries normally named Podkováň Výčepní Svetle 10° as this is also 4.4% ABV.
Anyway it pours a good bright and clear golden colour and has the usual Pilsner/Lager trait of producing a thin and fading pure white head.
Not a lot going on in the nose or mouth really: mild floral hop aroma and a mini-malt feel to the otherwise watery body. Without a doubt refreshing and thirst quenching, but lacks flavour of any kind. Ideal after some hard labour (I'd been gardening for a couple of hours) and just what I needed to cool down. Nothing complicated about it and nothing wrong with it either, however I'll not be buying another one.
