Found in several stores in Vladivostok, this white can with red printing features a horse-drawn beer cart in front of what is presumably the brewery. Printing is in Chinese and English. Ingredients include "high quality" malt and rice. Best before 7/5/05, I opened it on 4/12/05.
Pours a clear pale gold under a 1/2 finger white head that manages to linger for a short while. There is remarkably little nose here - not dissimilar to water. The mouth is light and prickly. Classic adjunct macro lager taste: watery, touch of corn, no hops, no character - utterly plain and non-descript. There is nothing objectionable here (thus no marks lower than 2), but there is absolutely nothing to like here either (thus no marks even as high as 3).
