Bottle from HomeBrewStuff. Dark amber / brown, small bubbly head. Deep, dark malts, tannic notes, leather, tobacco. Taste is also focused on the malts, brown bread, fruitcake. Gentle sweetness, big bitterness. Pretty darn good.

A "hopped up amber" according to the label. Poured in to a pint glass.
Pours a mahogany red color, clear with a foamy off-white head.
Smell is a pine scent.
Taste is a charcoal cereal flavor. Not a hoppy as the aroma would suggest.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied.
Overall a nice malty brew with a bit of a hop bite. I make it more of a red than an amber.

Bomber from the grocery store. Aroma is fresh citrusy, dank PNW hops alongside caramel malt, dark fruit, garbage. Pours hazy amber with a medium beige head with good retention; reduces to a big bubbly collar and some lace. Taste is chocolate, fresh hops, roasty, a little garbage; highly bitter for style--seems much more bitter than the advertised 18 IBUs. It doesn’t taste like an ESB at all, though. It’s like a fresh highly hopped amber/brown ale. Weird hybrid. Would be a roaring success without that garbagey element.
