On tap at Base Camp Hailey. Rating this as a cream ale. Nice pour, medium weight body with thick creamy head. Aroma is pure lager grains, in a good way. Taste follows with smooth very texture and delicious malt bill. Tasty beer, refreshing, easy drinker. Don't be put off by the low scores, its really pretty good.

Served in bubble pint glass. Poured a very cloudy, almost Hefeweizen looking, yellow with a half-inch of white head that had very low retention and lacing.
The aroma was full of nice, earthy grains with a bit of yeasty spice in the background. The flavors were the same, grains and yeast, without a noticeable hop presence.
The body was pretty good, smooth, even and full. The beer was nicely drinkable, I could see having a couple in a row. Overall, a pretty nice beer, if though it's different than most of the style. Worth trying if you see it.

As compared to a heavy rail? Sampled at the brewery, pours a mostly clear lemony yellow color. A soft white head with good retention and lace.
The nose is light over all but ok. Some light grainy aroma. There is a touch of DMS but not over the top. A bit hoppy for a kolsch with more of a citrus meets herbal quality to it. No really yeast notes, mostly clean.
The taste is similar. The graininess tones down a bit versus the nose and leaves more of a generic malty undertone. Some almost pils almost wheat undertones but difficult to pick up. The DMS is gone (but it was light in the nose so eh). The hops are bit more balanced with the malt but still leave with a light citrus finish. Some lighter bubblegum and rose peddles in the finish and a slight yeast after taste but not bad.
The body is light to moderate. Could use a touch more depth. Some bitterness in the finish, that I attribute to the hop. Pretty easy to drink, relax type of beer.

On tap at the brewery tap room.
Pours a pale yellow color and is slightly hazy. Smallish foamy head.
Smell is a faint and light citrus aroma. Orange perhaps.
Taste is OK. A grain taste along side a dry fruity flavor. Mildly bitter aftertaste.
Mouthfeel is light crisp and clean.
Very drinkable and sessionable. A nice thirst quenching summer brew.
