Originally reviewed September 17, 2005. On tap at the Big Lake Brewfest. Strong hexane aroma. Cloudy yellow pour. Wow, blast of oily rich hexane, lemon and clove over a river of sweet sugars. A really condensed and rich flavor, full of body and decent flavor. A very nice wheat! Finishes oily and coating.

Served in a 20oz glass, the beer is a hazy, opaque orange/yellow not a ton of head, but nice lacing.
Big nose of spices, banana, malts and citrus.
Taste is brisk with some nice tartness. Well balanced with spice (clove), wheat and lemon peel notes. Very Germanic!
The mouth is puckering yet a bit creamy. Very refreshing on a hot day.
