16oz can. No dating information found. Purchased at Casanova Liquors in Hudson WI.
Clear, deep amber colored body. One finger of off white head, sticks around as a cap. Leaves behind webs of lacing.
Aroma of toasted bread with a bit of burnt edges. Gets close to caramel. Spicy note.
Taste is toward the acrid side, with strong toasted bread flavors, along with burnt caramel. Has a metallic note. Lingering abnormal sweetness.
Medium mouth feel, with some syrupy smoothness. Very good carbonation.
Not enjoyable overall, and could stand some improvement (try to stay away from the burnt caramel flavor).
