Redhorse Ale was served in a pint glass; the beer is dark garnet bordering on brown. It has a sticky beige head.
It has an aroma of lightly roasted grains, some milky way bar and pine in the finish.
Well integrated with some toasty malt, a bit of whole grain bread, some caramel malt with some trailing bitterness.
The mouth has a nice balance from a good malt backbone and mid to low level carbonation.
This is what how a good American Red should be constructed.
