I travel to Billings once or twice a year and have learned Yellowstone Valley is a great place to hang and enjoy good brew. This IPA has a light Amber color and good aroma- a little citrusy. The bitter finish on the numbskull makes this great for my taste

not as good as their citropia (single hopped with citra), but a pretty pungent and fresh ipa, better than most of their other beers ive had, and more true to style too. its got some cooper to the color, radiant still though, and carries that grain weight through it, although its more flavorful on that side of things than it is sweet, which is awesome, and the hops are really there all the way through, citrusy, but thats too generic, they have a real solid oil content, remind me of southern hemisphere stuff, and linger long in the finish. its a very good ipa, sturdy enough for cold montana winter, but low enough in abv and interesting enough to be a beer worth drinking several of. these guys have come a long way in my limited experience with their beer, so much better than last trip up there.

Had on tap at Bones Brewing.
Appearance- Clear and light tea color. Small off white head that doesn't stick around and little lacing. 4/5
Smell- Floral and citrus hops. Very nice. Orange hard candy is what I smell. 4.5/5
Taste- Again with the orange hard candy. Good bitterness, but I wish it hit you in the face a little more. It does stay on your tounge for a minute just in case you thought it went away. Very good. 4/5
Mouthfeel- Good for an IPA. More on the thin side of medium. 4/5
Overall- I have to say this is a good IPA. Easy to drink, and great tasting. Lots of orange and good bitterness. 4/5
