Cask pint at Ye Olde Trip To Jerusalem, Nottingham (£5.60):
Bright, clear golden with a thin, creamy white lacing & nice shtick on the sides. Biscuit, light malts & slightly floral - pretty decent for a cask with a sessionable feel to it.

Tasted this beer by half-pint at the Oakdale Arms pub in North London, during their minibeerfest in mid-November. It was served straight from the cask by gravity.
A: extra pale straw-hued, with a thin layer of tight foamy head which leaves beautiful and fine lacing; extremely low carbonation. Looking very nice for a glass gravity-dispensed cask conditioned ale.
S: understated citrusy zesty, tropical fruity and some flowery scent, almost like the aroma combining the characters of wines made of Sauvignon Blanc (Bordeaux) and Gewurztraminer (New Zealand)... vinous overall, with a touch of sour edge of unprocessed honey. Nice!
T: divine balance between grainy pale malts and citrus hops--not strong in flavour, but a solid body buttresses the overall fruity flavour and mild peach-codial kind of hoppyness; slightly dryish aftertaste with lingering hoppy finish.
M&D: medium-bodied nectar, very lively on mouthfeel with so little fizz, but managing to remain quite rounded for an attenuated golden ale which is flavoursome and nicely-balanced. Recommended!
