Appearance: clear copper in color with a short 1" head that lasts a while.
Smell: somewhat earthy with some caramel and a mild peat aroma.
Taste: big caramel, strong peat flavors, and some dark fruit sweetness are up front with a soft roasted tone floating underneath. Bitterness is very light.
Mouthfeel: medium bodied. Smooth throughout. Aftertaste is a bit long as the earthy tones linger in the mouth for a bit.
Drinkability: this one goes down smoothly and its very easy to drink. Multiple pints can be had in a session. Definitely worth having a pint if you visit the brewpub.
