First crack at a witbier. I've enjoyed Brugge's other beers, so I thought I'd pick this one up as well.
A - HUGE white fluffy head to this beer. It comes down pretty quick with no remnants of lacing. Color is a pale yellow with haze to it.
S - Right off the bat, lemon aroma up front. Spices follow through with some nutmeg in the background. Smells zesty!
T - The taste lacks from the nose. Lemon, spice taste but rather subdued. Has a bitterness to it though at the end of the drink.
M- Light-Medium body. Lots of carbonation.
D- Not sure what to think of my first witbier. It was an easy drink. However I was hoping for more taste from it. Not sure if I'd pick up another bottle, although would try it on draft maybe to get a second opinion.

White. Picked up a bottle while in Indiana. Pours a hazy straw yellow color with a light amber orange hue throughout. A bubbly white head with limited retention and lacing.
The nose has a lot of the wit characteristic but also has a lot more going on. A nice wheat base with a light spiciness on the back end. Some nice lemon zest aroma but along with that is a funk plum and fig notes. More of an estery aroma but not overly yeasty. The spices come out as well. Some limited coriander, would like more, but there also is a lemon grass and lavender. Almost like a candle.
The taste is similar. The lemon zest comes out a bit more than the nose. Some lighter orange notes as well. The wheat backs off but is still noticeable. There is a more of pepper taste that comes out but blends oddly with the distinct lavender/lemon grass notes. There is a light herbal note that I think is coming from the hops. Some yeast and a light fig note but limited versus the nose. Some chalky notes into the finish.
The body is moderate but has a milder finish. Some carbonic bite but not over the top. Overall some nice positive notes with the wheat character and pepper, but some off notes as well with the esters and phenolic. Ok.

The beer poured with a thin, quickly dispersing head, and was a bit more "clear" than the other whites we had at the table. I was afraid this was another attempt to make a psuedo-white beer. The smell was very Belgian, with a definite hint of funk.
And I was surprised at the taste. It was clearly a wit beer to purchase again. It definitely had a fruit finish, not overpoweringly sweet like some. The only thing was that the beer seemed a bit fizzy on the tailend, but it did help to give a clean finish, which is always a big hit in my book.
In short, I like this beer.

Boulevard Tavern, Brooklyn, NY
A: Very light golden look w/ a decent head, and good lacing.
S: Sweet nutmeg type smell or something similar. Very refreshing.
T: Pretty good, but something is lacking. A little bitter for a witbier.
M: Medium to full, great carbonation.
D: Good light witbier but to be honest I think there are better choices, but totally worth the try.

crisp yellow-orange color. white head falls down with little lacing.
fruity aroma, berries up in there. slight sugary malt.
yeasty but sweet flavoring. very, very sweet. but in the midst of all of that, there is a good flavoring of caramel malt and slight citrus.
just an explosive carbonation bomb. not balanced on the feel, all over the place and too much.
I believe this beer has a time and a place, a warm day with a craving for sweet beer. how often do I have that day? not often.

I had at Boulevard Tavern in Brooklyn.
A-Gold color, decent head, completely opaque.
T-Wheat scent to it, mild.
T-Wheat and sweet, slightly sour aftetaste. Bubbly. Sits kind of heavy. Good, but I would only want one or two before I would be done with it.

1pt 9.5floz bottle into the big boy 1l Spaten seidel. this beer is 'best enjoyed often." nice bottle design with the cats.
A - big frothy bright white head, creamy texture. body is a light amber, though it does not have the characteristic red tinges that amber has. this is more like darker yellow. head comes down to a reasonable size in a short while.
S - definite wheat notes in the foreground. the seidel is not the best vessel to extract the subtleties of a beer. other than the wheat malts there is some lemon like zest to the nose, maybe a bit spicy.
T - initial taste is an expansion of that spicy zest in the nose, though nothing overwhelming, still a strong wheat back bone. the finish has some spicy, or at least bitter, hops; quite a dull experience. the aftertaste is sweet, wheaty, maybe a bit of honey.
MF&D - a moderate carbonation beer with a little-too-thin body. nothing that would seriously impede a good rating.

On tap at the Black Sparrow in Lafayette. It's gonna be nice to have a speciality brewpub like this within driving distance.
Pours like a wit. Pale yellow that's still got some character to it, nice white head.
Smells like a nice wit. Coriander, harsh lemon and generic citrus, white pepper. Maybe a little on the sour side, but there's nothing necessarily wrong with that...
Unless, of course, that sourness gets too intense. Which in the flavor it doesn't, at least not quite. The spice complexities are good, and the citrusiness serves as a nice balance, but there's a harsh acidity that takes a while to get used to and distracted me from the more pleasant stuff.
