Birthday beer #4. This Pils uses Saaz and Vanguard hops. This beer arrived a very bright and clear, polished gold in color with a one finger creamy head. The aromas are grassy, herbal, and floral. Interesting nose, the saaz hops add a nice spice. It almost has a tea leaf aspect. The fiance says it has some lemon characteristics. The flavors feature an intricate bouqet of flowers, perfume, potpourri, honey, and spicy yeast. Very complex for a pils. It drinks ultra light in body and is very sessionable. This is a top notch pilsner. Try it while you can.
