On tap at Brugge
Pours bright light straw color with a foamy head leaving great lacing down the glass.
Nose is fairly sweet with some unidentifiable dark fruit (plum I'm guessing). A bit of funkiness, but not much sour on the nose.
Sweet fruit up front and a touch of sourness and funk, but far from enamel ripping. Wish this one had a bit more lacto character. Tastes a bit underattentuated although not as bad as Pooka.
Light bodied, but still a smooth creamy mouthfeel. Finishes a bit sweet.
Pretty solid beer. This one could be phenomenol if there were a bit more lactic acid to up the sourness and clean up some of sweet flavors.

This is a blonde sour made with Italian plums. The beer arrived a light bodied, slightly cloudy bright yellow gold in color with a white soapy head that laced the glass. The nose is soft and tart with a nice level of lactic influence and somewhat sweet fruit character. It has really nice flavor. It has a nice sweet fruit presence up front followed by a lactic acidity and a very creamy finish, a la their other sours. It drinks light with that spectacular creamy finish. Overall this was a great beer. It isn't as sweet as Pookah or Harvey and has great drinkability. I look forward to more blonde fruited sours from Brugge in the future.
