Cloudy amber heavy on the orange with a dense, wet and sticky white head. Apricots, biscuits make up the aroma with a slight tickle of alcohol. The Flavor is bright and peppery with alcohol, which balances the sticky malt nicely. Alcohol is readily apparent in this, but instead of sticking out like a sore thumb, its integrated nicely into the flavor and seems to fit. Very sticky beer, but its not cloying.

The appearance is pale but very dense and cloudy looking. Almost no head to speak of as delivered by the bartender. This forbiding looking concoction is the way Buckhead Brewery and Grill is welcoming the date on which HB645, legalizing beers stronger than 6% ABV is in effect in Georgia. The smell is very sweetly phenolic with a clearly high alcohol tinge. The taste is sweet and creamy with a alcohol burn down the throat. Definately a sipping beer that complimented a cheesecake quite well. Hope this one is a keeper for them.
