Served much too cold to me at the Alpharetta location, in the totally inappropriate pint glass, with a wedge of lemon stuck on the rim to add insult to injury. The beer itself is slightly cloudy with a tiny head, which is completely atypical for the style. At the sub arctic initial serving temperature, the beer lacks a lot of phenolic character and comes across as overly sharp and bitter. As the body warms up, it gets more of the clove flavor coming through, but by that time most of the beer is gone. Little to no banana or other fruit taste here, and almost no creaminess to speak of. The tart lemon peel taste is however nicely represented. Passable offering on a hot summer day, but will disappoint the purist.

This one isn't so cloudy as most and that detracts from the appearance. It's a pale coppery color with a bit of haze. the head is ok, but not huge. The aroma is nicely clove-phenolic, less estery than that. The wheat is big, cereal-like and crisp in the flavor. Very refeshing hefeweizen.
