I was lucky enough to get this beer the day after it went on tap at the Alpharetta (metro Atlanta) location of the Buckhead Brewery. I have to say I was impressed. I'm not usually big on the Belgian whites. Hooegarden was too bland for me and Blue Moon too spicy. Blanche de Buckhead, however has the spiciness of the coriander and citrus of the orange peel, but manage to balance it with the esters of the abundant yeast. Actually the yeast tasted a little more like German hefeweizen yeast than belgian white yeast, but since I don't know what yeast the brewer used in the brew, I can't say for sure. Good beer.
