Deep red color with a medium thick head. Sweet caramel malt aroma, and the taste to match it. Very light hoppiness. Delicate and slightly spicy, and the best of the year around offerings from Buckhead Brewery that I've tasted yet. Goes great with their prime rib.

Dark leatherized ruby. A nice head fades slowly but completely. Just looking at it, I probably would have guessed a brown. The aroma and flavor wouldn't have dissuaded me either. Warm malts, a slight hop bite and a tad tart. The flavor is come cocoa, caramel, slightly metallic hops. Good beer, but the aftertaste drives down the overall quality.
