Bottle received in trade with Erzengel, cheers!
50cl bottle poured into a Paulaner Seidel
BBE Aug 2011
A- Mahogany body with ruby highlights, excellent clarity. Head is off white, rocky producing average retention and minimal lacing.
S- Subtle milk chocolate note, a touch of caramel.
T- Sweet malts in the beginning but extremely subtle, toastier melanoidins are more obvious toward the finish with a suggestion of alcohol abv. Overall lacking richness and depth of malt character.
M- Moderate carbonation, full body, lager clean.
D- Really lacks depth of any malt complexity. Not sure if a month over BBE has harmed it but i doubt it. Needs greater richness in the nose and palate to rank higher.
