Tasted by half-pint at the White Star pub in the heart of Liverpool, 20/01/06. The beer seems to be provided by the Bowland brewery exclusively for this pub, hence the name.
A: dark orangey golden hue, some chill-haze, coming with a thin and foamy head with o.k. retention.
S: very mild, mixed lemony and orangey citrus note of hops, on top of semi-sweetish pale malts. But overll overly light on the nose.
T: semi-sweetish fruity hoppiness with lots of citrussy (mainly orangey) flavour and floral aftertaste, underlined by a light-bodied maltiness in the background.
M&D: simplistic in terms of flavour and very light and soft on the mouthfeel, it's however a bit too light-bodied to make a real impression... Light as floral cordial mixed with the lightest bitter one could get. O.K. beer.
