440ml can into a pint mug. Best by December 26th, no year, but I'm assured by the gifted that it's a fresh batch.
Brilliantly clear reddish amber body, small off white head doesn't last long, no lacing. Aroma is malty and slightly sweet. On tasting, very clean, a Westerham trait, malty, mild bitterness. Finish fainty drying.
Overall, bags of flavor for a 3 8. Brewer describes it as a Kentish Ale. Doesn't really fit any of the categories on BA, so English Bitter is as good as any. Low abv ESB would also work.

(written from notes from a bar up in New England a few months back)
Poured a nice amber color, with a finger of off-white head, that laced fairly well. The smell surprisingly didn't yield much in the way of fruitiness that I've come to expect from the better English bitters; mostly caramel, woodiness, roast malt, and herbal hops. The flavor was dominated by caramel and woodiness, with an herbal finish. The feel was silky smooth, with the tiniest bit of carbonation. Pleasant enough texture to session, but a little too imbalanced of a flavor for a bitter.

On cask at Deep Ellum in Allson, MA
Poured a nicie amber color with massive bubbles that reduced to almost nothing after the beer settled.
No hop aroma. Minimal malt aroma, Some biscuity notes.
Crisp clean hop bitterness to this beer. Slight buttery taste.
Notes of cardboard, and wet paper. The beer is somewhat oxidized, but still highly drinkable
Very light bodied bitter, true to the the style.
This is a prime candidate for a session beer. At 3.8% abv, it's alcohol content makes this a clear choice for something that could literally be consumed all day long, starting with your pancakes!
It's an obscure beer that I would seek out on a hot summer day.

a surprising dark red amber. clear. some sudsy, bubbly head that fades to a ring. lacing is somewhat sparse.
fruity, faint apple aroma. hint of diacetyl, faint phenols. whiff of toasted malt and toffee.
malt is nutty and quite caramel, gently roasted. apple notes again. butter and toffee notes. hop is grassy and earthy. some phenols. gentle bitterness. semi-dry finish.
smooth, not too watery. very gentle carbonation.
a dark amber session bitter - unique and interesting
