Calima followis the place's trend to name the beers after colombian indigenous tribes.

And this one clearly represents the toughness of one of them- through the bitterness, of course.

The appearance of this one is the best from the place. amber toned body slightly fizzy, with a good retaining bright white head.

The smell is rather weak as for all the beers in the place, but gives off the two main components to be clearly distinguished by the taste: a soft, malty feeling, and a strong hoppy end.

The taste- as I just said- is rather marked by a rustic lack of complexity, to clearly distinguish what the beer's all about. at first, soft and sweet, overcome almost immediately by a hight bitterness that leaves this sort of aftertaste at the end.

The mouthfeel, well, is clearly defined by the bitterness, and the body isn't too strong so that it combines with a fine carbonation: a commendable session beer, yes; a complex brew to be defined? hardly.

The drinkability is high enough for the style. it makes a good session beer as long as you're not expecting to draw much out of it everytime.
