Lavender wit? It sounded too good not to try.
The tall weizen glass is filled with a hazy, cloudy golden beer that arrived with a collar of bright white bubbles. The smell is of cloves, bananas, coriander, just as would be expected, but no lavender. It feels light on the tongue with a light body and gentle carbonation. Lots of cloves and wheat with modest sweetness. It is crisp and refreshing. But again, the lavender was not detected. A nice witbier, and hopefully the next version will bump up the lavender.
