I am drinking a new spring-time release at the Cap City in Baltimore's Inner Harbor. The pils is served on tap, strangely enough with a slice of lemon (promptly discarded).
Appearance: The pils is crystal clear, with a light yellow color. There is ample carbonation (from the bubbles in the glass) and a light ring of lace.
Smell: The pils has a dry hoppy aroma. Try as I may, I don't smell any lemongrass in the nose.
Taste: The pils is very dry, with a nice long finish. The hops are aggressive without being too overpowering. As I sip, I find a faint taste of lemongrass, just a hint though.
Mouthfeel: The pils tastes quite good, dry with a brief hint of lemon.
Drinkability: Good drinkability, perfect for an unseasonably warm spring afternoon.
