Golden straw with an ever so slight haze. Topped with a skim coat of fine white bubbles piled at the edges, lazy carbonation streams drift upwards. No lacing. The smell is crisp and clean with nice spicy hop aromas, but on the soft side. The taste is pleasantly crisp with a firm pilsner malt body that lets the spicy hop note shine in the finish. Well balanced. There is a peppery note that hangs for just a short time but then leaves the palate clean. Light to medium body, but possessing a sturdy mouthfeel, its gentle carbonation makes it feel almost creamy. Wonderfully refreshing and an easy drinker during our afternoon on the outside patio during Cap Citys 10th Anniversary celebration.
