Dirty gold color. Very pale for a Scottish Ale. No head and no lace.
Nice toasted toffee to caramel nose, although not nearly as sweet.
The flavor is similar except for a distinctive bittering hop finish I wasn't expecting for the style. Decent body and carbonation. The finish is more bitter than malty. I like it but it isn't within the style.
