Tenth anniversary beer that is a combination Belgian Tripel and IPA
Appearance: Arrives at the bar with a cloudy golden color and a whipped egg white head that retains well and deposits some spots of lace
Smell: Candi sugar and lemon
Taste: Starts out like a lemon sweet tart; after the swallow, the complex yeasty elements emerge with some funky bitter flavors; ultimately, however, the finish is sweet and, after a while, the sweetness on the tip of the tongue becomes overwhelming
Mouthfeel: Very thick mouthfeel with moderate carbonation
Drinkability: Interesting flavor profile and kudos to the brewer for taking a risk; I just found it to be too sweet after initially liking it much more
