From a growler. Poured a slightly cloudy purplish brown color with a thin, white head. No lacing. Aroma of instant coffee. Flavor is pretty malty with a touch of caramel and maple to it. Finish is almost smoky, which was surprising to me. A decent offering.

Hazy copper body, with beige head that leaves nice lacing. The aroma is medium sweet, caramel, syrup, and some cherry. The taste is medium sweet, caramel, some maple, smoke and peat, light earthy. It also has a creamy light-medium body. A decent Scottish Ale.
