Appearance: dark borwn in color with a nice 2" head that slowly falls to a thick surface foam. Nice lacing develops.
Smell: roasted malts and hints of chocolate are mild in the aroma.
Taste: roasted malts, chocolate, prune sweetness, and a soft bitterness makes up a mild version of the style. I found the chocolate to be a bit much overall.
Mouthfeel: crisp throughout. Roasted malts linger softly on the tongue after swallowing.
Drinkability: decent beer, but this one did not overly excite me on the flavor front for the style.
