This was one of the beers I had a while back at the original location of the Cap City Brewery, which I made detailed notes on, then lost, then found months later. Here we go.
The brown poured an opaque medium brown, with a small tan head, mild retention. There appeared to be little carbonation if any.
The aroma was of spices, hops, yeast, roasted and sweet malts, and the taste was much of the same, with notes of alcohol, nut and brown sugar.
A relatively sweet mouthfeel, with a mild roasted bitterness.
It was decently drinkable and one of the better brews I've had here.
